I cannot wait for the new Google Android Phone to come out. The launch date will be October 22,Wednesday, at T-Mobile stores. Anyone one wanna get me it? lol!!!

For new T-Mobile customer, the G1 will cost $179 (with a two-year contract). Also, existing T-Mobile customers will be able to order it online to be delivered to them when it becomes available. T-Mobile said that there will be two data options available for the device in addition to a voice plan: a $25 data plan with limited messaging, and a $35 plan with unlimited messaging and mobile web. T-Mobile’s 3G network would be live in 16 markets by the G1 launch, and live in 22 markets by mid-November.

I suppose their popularity helps shield them from accusations of being a near-monopoly.
Their Search is great but I’m dubious about the latest book-scanning initiative; it’s a bit cheeky.
