Lol, that sounded like an AA meeting transcript… If they had a transcript, remember its supposed to be anonymous… but its true, I am addicted to the Blog environment. May it be reading other blogs, writing about an experience, researching a topic or what not. I found out in our ‘comment-conversations’ that R.Patel of Blab Web feels the same way too. I guess you would have to be just a tad bit addicted to Blogging, otherwise you would not find the time to really talk about anything online. Do you feel the same way?
Well first of all what is a Blog? When I first heard about it I though it sounded too funny to check out. But a Blog is basically a WebLog. Transcribing ideas, opinions, whatever onto the net. In other words its another way to express yourself. I debated for a long time if I should start a WebLog or not. When I started I did not know how to do it or where to go for answers (reminded me of high school and college lol). Thank God for the “Big 3″, and their posts:
- JohnChowDotCom’s Make Money Online ebook
- proBlogger’s Blogging Tips for Begginers
- ShoeMoney’s Mini ebook Newletters Sign up!
These guys are full time Bloggers, and very successful at it. What I like about these 3 guys is that they are willing to share with you what they have learned. It’s all about giving back! Obviously there is much to read from their Blogs, but these links will get you started. Nowaday’s whenever the fiance and I go around town and experience something cool or find a good deal, she automatically asks “Are you gonna Blog about this?” HELL YEAH! hahaha… I’m sure my fellow bloggers feel the same way.
Now you may have different agendas when you start your blog. You may just want to make money, share data, give advice, whatever, but please be sure to write about something thats gets you excited! Make sure its your voice. That would be the only thing that will separate you from the millions of other blogs out there. Finding your voice might be the part that will take the longest to develop. Is it worth it? Ask ShoeMoney and my favorite picture on the web. Or ask JohnChowDotCom if it was worth the 11 months to bring up his income. lol so Blog On!
