How To Get Complimentary Free Meals on Your Birthday

 I turned 30 today – but that’s not the topic I wanted to talk to you guys about. Today let’s look at How you can get FREE meals for your Birthday just like me. This week I got a handful of free meals delivered to my inbox. To name a few:

+ Complimentray dinner from Texas de Brazil ($48 value) with the purchase of 1 dinner.
+ Complimentary dinner from Flattop Grill ($15 value) no minimum purchase.
+ $10 GC from Stonewood Alehouse with a $20 tab.
+ Free Ice Cream Creation at Cold Stone ($8 value)
= That’s $81 bucks that I won’t be pulling out of my pocket.

So here is what you do…
USE THE INTERWEB – that’s what it’s there for.

Your favorite restaurant will most probably have a website, especially if its a franchise. These websites are used not just to show you their menu or their address, but its also a chance for that establishment to send you promotional materials. If they have a website, chances are their marketing is handled by a marketing company like Fishbowl.com, whose sole purpose is to distribute and market the restaurant’s brand.

Let’s take my favorite restaurant for example: Texas de Brazil (TdB) – where you can have unlimited portions of your favorite cut of meat. From the very first time we went there, I signed up for the “e-newsletter” online. Every year for my birthday I get a complimentary dinner valued at ($48). Throughout the rest of the year I also get discounted dinners and lunches. I decided to use the same strategy at the Flattop Grill and the other places I enjoy and had the same yummy result!

Make Reservations at Opentable.com

I also use Opentable.com to make reservations at TdB. For every reserved meal I complete I get 300 points. When you accumulate 2,000 points (apporx 7 dinners) you get a $20 GC from Opentable.com to use at particiapting restaurants. for 5,000 points you get $50 and for 10,000 you get $100. The list of restaurants at Opentable.com is extensive, covering the USA, Canada and 11 other countries. Some of these restaurants offer 1,000 points per successful reservation, so do the math on that one.

Kick it up a Notch!

If you wanna be evil, you can even get these free meals every month. That’s right every single month – open up 12 email accounts and subscribe to your favorite places with a different birthday for every month of the year. This way, every month you will get all sorts of free meals and discounted promotions. ;o)
