Ah… Another succesful Food Trip! This time we chowed down on some Japanese food @ Sushi-X on 543 Diversey – a new location. A curtain of steel beads separated our private room from the general restaurant area giving us the freedom to do what we do… Eat, take pictures, repeat!
To start we ordered Miso soup and took a few behaved pictures to start. Everyone had a taste of the Godzilla Roll, and we have a few compromising photos to prove it. I also found a new roll to crave for, the Omega Roll: tempura tuna, pepper mayo, avocado, tempura crumbs, lettuce and roe on the outside. The pepper mayo makes the roll spicier than I would like, but the combination of ingredients plus soy sauce and wasabi is heaven to my taste buds. Hot Sake and more Japanese food later got everyone in a lighter mood which leads to more Photodocumentation. Check out more pictures from our Food Trip #003.
