Your Money or Your Life

by Eric Tan on December 18, 2008 · 1 comment

I started something new in preparation for the new year. For the month of December I made a goal of reading one book: “Your Money or Your Life” – written by Joe Dominguez and Vicki Robin. I decided to make this change to improve myself. Also thanks to a challenge from one of Freddie Taylor’s posts from FreddieTaylor.com. I believe the challenge was to do something new – a challenge from a fellow blogger – and that was all I needed to start a new habit.

I have not read the entire book just yet, but so far its been an awesome read. The book talks about finding your relationship with money. What I like about it is that it really hits home and talks to YOU – asking you some hard, straight forward questions like: “Is more really better?”, “What do you have to show for what you’ve done with your life?”.Some of the questions I didn’t have an answer for.

I’m not gonna give away the whole book but with just the first few chapters I have already made some changes with my relationship with money. I totally recommend this book. Check it out here.
